The Sword Specifications:

Made of 1095 high carbon steel, this hand-forged, water-quenched blade is a product of traditional Japanese craftsmanship. The overall length of the sword is 40.5 inches/104 cm, with the nagasa (blade) measuring 27.8 inches/70.5 cm and the tsuka (handle) at 10.6 inches/27 cm. The motohaba (width near the habaki) is 3.15 cm, and the sakihaba (width near the yokote) is 2.3 cm. The blade features a maru structure and a shinogi-zukuri blade shape, with a chu-kissaki (medium-sized) kissaki (tip). The hardness of the blade is 55 HRC.

The tsuka is covered in genuine ray skin and wrapped in high-quality black silk, providing a comfortable and secure grip. Two mekugi (pegs) are used to secure the tang of the sword. The tsuba (guard) is made of iron, and the sword features a bohi (blood groove) on the blade.

The saya (scabbard) is crafted from hardwood and finished with a high-gloss lacquer. The sageo (cord) is tied around the kurikata (knob) of the saya, and the koiguchi (scabbard mouth) and kojiri (scabbard tip) have been hardened.
